SUMMARY This report

showcases the research undertaken by students of fifth semester of the National Pedagogical University, for interdisciplinary research area II on the hypermedia as a means of motivation to literacy in third grade students from a rural population, located in the municipality of Tabio (Cundinamarca). This research sought to know how the hypermedia environments contribute to the strengthening and encouragement of reading-writing process, etc., and see how this tool to be used in the development of literacy skills, creates a new alternative for teaching in school rural.

During the research process first developed two surveys: one on the student's familiarity with technological devices and the second about the familiarity with reading and writing.

A second step in the research was conducted two workshops: one on reading comprehension and one on textual production of a literary text, to determine at first instance, what was the level of comprehension and production of third grade students.
A third step was to apply a second workshop with a type of informational text, which would verify as is the acceptance of students to face a different type of literary text.

a fourth step, it drew attention to a text type which combines the image with the text: the story. This workshop will implement the connection between image and text that is what is based hypermedia environments.

Finally, took out the experience with the hypermedia environment, using all the knowledge acquired during the workshops, but on the technological tools that had been raised at first.

ABSTRACT The present report exhibits the investigation Carried out by students of fifth semester of the National Pedagogical University, for the area of \u200b\u200binterdisciplinary investigation II, on the hypermedia as motivation way in Redding-writing in degree students third, of a rural population, located in the municipality of Tabio (Cundinamarca). This search looked for to know as the hypermedial atmospheres contribute to the reinforcement and motivation of the process reading-writer; also, to verify like this tool to the being used within the development of the habilitéis reading-writers, generates a new alternative for education within the rural school.

During the search process first two surveys were developed: first on the familiarity of the student with the technological devices and second about the familiarity with the lecto-writing.
A second passage within the investigation went two factories: one on textual understanding and another one on textual production of a literary text, with the purpose of to know in first instance, what was the level of understanding and production of the degree students third.

A third step was to apply a second factory with a type of text of informative type, consequently we would verify as it is the acceptance of the students when facing a type of text different from the literary one. A quarter happened, went the attention towards a type of text where the image along with the text was conjugated: the comic strip. In this factory I implement the connection between image and text that is what the hypermedial atmospheres are based.

Finally, I carry out the experience with the hypermedial atmosphere, applying all the knowledge acquired During The factories, pero on the Technological Tools That Had Considered at first.

RESEARCH LINE
This research is heading the research in literature and hypermedia, National Pedagogical University.

PRESENTATION
Clearly the impact of advances in technology are having on the education of most of our countries and how it has led the ability for greater interaction between student-teacher, but mediated by the computer as a basic tool of learning.
From the main approach of this research called "hypermedia AS A MOTIVATION FOR READING AND WRITING IN THE ELEMENTARY BASIC KIDS (THIRD GRADE) CAMILO TORRES SCHOOL LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TABIO CUNDINAMANCA" started on 26 February and ended on 20 November this year, is given, the reflection on the role of hypermedia environments during the reading-writing gig, which was manifested in the development of abilities, skills and motivation they can develop students in elementary and secondary schools, during the process of text comprehension and production. Motivation is the main factor is addressed in this investigative process, supported by multimedia environments and literacy, developed into a rural population.

OBJECTIVE
The project, which resolved to present an analysis of the effect of hypermedia environments in the process of text comprehension and production in children from third grade school located Camilo Torres in the town of Tabio. This will start to show in general terms the strengths and weaknesses of students in their process of understanding and textual production, before applying the hypermedia environment. Then he proceeded to observe the process of apprehension through workshops in literacy and finally, evaluate, and if the application of hypermedia environment conducive to the improvement of literate skills of third graders in a rural primary.

SAMPLE AND POPULATION
To define the type of population, we chose the rural population, located in the municipality of Tabio, Camilo Torres belonging to school, which opened the doors about the situation in which is this institution, its faculty and the problems being experienced, and how through this research can improve their academic level.
Similarly, students in third grade A and B, comprised 25 and 27 respectively, with ages between 7 and 10 years, at levels 1 and 2, the total population are chosen because their management is being at the right time to begin training in literacy and why the tools and elements that can be given during this process are key during argumentative thinking, proactive and exhibition that requires the current educational guidelines.

METHODOLOGY AND TECHNIQUES USED
To carry out this investigation we used two types of research, case studies and ex post facto research because these two types gave us the opportunity to make a proper analysis to our subject of study and research problem.

one hand, the case study allowed us to focus on a specific community, taking into account characteristics, and behavioral processes defined total community analysis, which in our case were the third grade students of the school Camilo Torres .
Regarding ex post facto research might say that it was appropriate to establish cause and effect relationships as our investigation of the problem of the relationship between motivation provided by the school Camilo Torres and basic primary education teacher and student interest in reading and writing in the approach to literature. DIFFICULTIES

present during the investigation
According to what was observed during the research process, within the College Department Township Camilo Torres Tabio, Cundinamarca, there were some difficulties were poor infrastructure due to lack of adequate College computer room Departmental Camilo Torres, to develop the activity, in addition to poor past performance of the few elements of the room, the lack of resources for maintenance and support of the governor of Cundinamarca. However, to carry out our objective, request a room in the house of culture, which provided us with the computers needed to implement the 10 students hypermedia environment.

FINAL RESULTS As a component of the evaluation of teaching-learning process, which is routed to the feedback from all educational activities. From this perspective any computer support, especially when it comes to resources such as hypermedia should be considered as one of the key steps in the development processes of text comprehension and production.
By exposing students in a rural population to these virtual spaces [2] as a teaching resource favors through the exercise, the acquisition of certain skills, especially those aimed at understanding and text production.
The main findings to the application of environment were:
1. Low-level management of basic tools on computer use and confusion in handling instructions
2. Positive impact the presentation of the website
3. Motivation absolute submission of the page and exercise raised
4. Appropriate level for the age of the sampled students
5. The motivation is given to the interaction between hypermedia, student and teacher.
6. Offers students the different possibilities of textbooks
7. High process of interactivity, where students navigate through the various links of the program.
8. The knowledge gained through the hypermedia require certain skills, and procedures for activities where they use tools, techniques, technologies and providing access to knowledge.
9. The sole use of the board and books, eliminating the possibility that the student knows that through other options can improve performance.

All this shows that if there was an impact on the motivation of third grade students, college Camilo Torres in the town of Tabio, as was noted the interest and willingness to carry out the activity, in addition to being a new option unexplored rural populations, impacts the reading-writing process and other areas of knowledge.
It should be noted, that need more support and exploration in this field, Cundinamarca municipalities that do not yet have the necessary tools to use technology to promote education and learning motivation.

CONCLUSIONS
When it comes to new ways of learning, we must see whether these are changes and innovations in terms of cognitive processes of the subject or new procedures, methodologies and models to promote learning, drawing on various resources and strategies hypermedia, in particular the use of the internet and its possibilities that education can offer a comprehensive management and information exchange and communication.
This is an important element for the current and future teachers in their pedagogical practices, as they generate space for knowledge production, to create new teaching models and to create innovative approaches to learning, based on the reality we face today where information systems and technology, stronger, and produce beneficial changes for the rural and urban education, although out can access these technologies with cutting-edge strategies that benefit our students in Colombia.
