THE MUSICAL SAGAS ALCUBLANAS

The bands of the people are much more than a musical group. Are the basis of local culture, transmitting values \u200b\u200band traditions and, above all, an intergenerational dialogue that is secured by the coexistence of the trials, parades, competitions, performances, travel ...
addition, for decades, being a musician in small towns like ours was one of the few ways out of the daily routine. Everyone remembers fondly his first performance at the Fallas in Valencia or stay in Villena for the Fiestas de Moros y Cristianos. This allowed them to go to the cinemas of the capital, the theater, trendy nightclubs, watching a bullfight with the leading figures ... in short, that they could not do in Alcublas.

It is no wonder that the desire, sacrifice and perseverance are owned by the Musical Union Alcublana has been transmitted from generation generation. In these 125-year history of our band alcublanas many families who have had a musician at home. On this anniversary, but could not overlook those families who have always been historically linked to the band since its inception, and continue to be so today.

is the case in the saga of the Gabarda (Joaquín Ciriaco, Manuel, José Manuel, José Lázaro and seven great-grandchildren Ciriaco Gabarda Joaquín, José, Manuel, José Luis, Pablo, Rosario, Marta and Cecilia) uninterrupted for four generations have nurtured the band of eleven musicians. José Manuel Gabarda-with Julio Manes, this year celebrated its golden anniversary with the Musical Union Alcublana. His love of music, his work and dedication to the band for 50 years have been an example to all who have shared podium with him.
also four generations of the family Navarrete have been present in the band (Joaquin Pascual-great-grandfather of musician Bruno Pérez, Manolo, Pedro and Maria Jose).

The Sanz family present in the band for three generations, has made seven musicians. The grandfather, Andrés Sanz, his son Andrew and all their grandchildren (Andrew, José Antonio, José Manuel, M ª Angeles and Patricia).
Eight members of the family Cabanes, best known for "The Froilanes " have been part of the band. The brothers Vicente, Miguel and Rafael and sons (Luis and Rafa) and grandchildren of it (Adrian and Hector), and a grandson of Vicente, Vicente Cabanes.

Also, for three generations, have been present: the Maness family (Cesareo, Joaquín and Eduardo), the family Sunday, better known as " tobacconists" (Joseph, Jesus and Joseph's brothers and Dani Sunday), the family Civera, "the Geldo "Francisco Civera, Rafael Civera father, son," wrote the lyrics of the anthem of Alcublas, and grandson, others Civera, better known as The Kika, Manuel Civera, José Manuel Civera and children (Miriam and Fernando), the family Perez comprised of brothers Angelo and Antonio, his son Isidro-bearer Alcublana Musical Union, and his sons, Isidro and Antonio. Also three generations, although in this case interrupted saga has brought the Cerverón : Cerverón Rafael, Rafa Cerverón (grandson) and four great-grandchildren of the first (Miriam, Ignacio, Fernando and Rafael).

To these and all the families of Alcublas that for 125 years have made possible so unselfish and generous, the Musical Union Alcublana be kept alive, thank you very much.

What Is The Price Of A Bmw Gina Concept

The CHELVANA began his business career in 1925. His centenary is approaching.

Since then, many memories are crowded at the gates ... How much those seats will have lived! How many will alcublanos Chelvana stories!

is why so want to start a series of articles with the theme of The Chelvana : memories told in first person of many alcublanos whose life is unfailingly beside THE CHELVANA.

and start this series of memories with the article published in Ramiro Peña as a tribute to Andrés Sanz Santolaria , on the occasion of his retirement.

Our friend Andrew before working in the Hispanic Chelvana as collector driver first and later started their wanderings with farm work. At Valencia, he decided to go to work and entered the Chelvana of collector. past all the cars had collector line apart from the driver. Andrés still had no driver's license.
tells us that even today is very grateful to their heads, because they forced him to pull out the card, arguing that the need to work in any business.

When they removed the Chelvana collectors, he already had the press card and that's when the mistakes began to make his teammates as replacement driver.

began to climb Alcublas as reinforcement, for even now there is only one daily service at that time were two, as well as on Sunday. The days that stayed up in the workshop. In those years
Alcublas down from a valence 20 or 25 people, plus another car for the people going to Carril, a Liriano or Casinos. Therefore the two services were justified. Formerly
gave tickets to Liria and vice versa (Liria-Alcublas). The journey Liria Valencia was brought to the VASA, by agreements between the two different companies. Later took part also the councils themselves.
To recreate those times, Andrew tells us about the state of the road, particularly that of the rochas, which was paved and crushed. Literally says:
"Watch the speed that we took up the rochas (then still went collector driver and him) that the section of the box, where there were two humps in a row, I had to get off the bus and helped launch the driver to make the maneuver. Then, without stopping, climbing back to the bus. "
already being Andrés driver, in his first trip to Alcublas tells us that was not afraid to have had those experiences as a collector and also good knowledge of the road. "Road? tells us the Chelvana occupied the entire road, but fortunately because from Liria, rail or Casinos Alcublas you passed with no more than 5 0 6 vehicles, many with RHD.
Finally, remember the transhipment Casinos, having an agreement as they had two services on Saturdays and Sundays. Beginning to be deficient line, the company seeks an agreement with the City Council, which he refuses for not having enough money, but is responsible for the transfer you have to do in casinos.

happy and well deserved retirement: enjoy.

MONUMENTAL STUDIO AND HISTORICAL HERITAGE OF Alcublas

ENCARNA Alcublas CITY OF GOVERNOR

We will continue with the Cross Parish, which we discussed earlier, http://penyaramiro.blogspot.com/2009/12/trabajaron-para-alcublas.html

CROSS PARISH

Cross XIII century. It is signed by Eloy Camañes, illustrious Valencian silversmith of the time .
was originally silver, which contrasted with a golden Jesus. Was recently modified with a gold plated and silver plated Jesus Christ, a move they see as less appropriate.
La Cruz is laboriously worked.
In the front, where Jesus Christ is bedridden, can be distinguished:

* San Antonio Abad, Alcublas pattern (in central medallion above).
* San Cristobal, protector of pilgrims (on a side medallion).
* Built Saints Abdon and Senen (on the other side medallion). Alcublas is an agricultural area and these saints are protective of the fields against hail and bad weather in general.
* Eastern Cross Egypt (at the bottom, at the feet of Jesus Christ.) Egypt is the land of birth of the patron San Antonio Abad. * San Agustín
(At bottom). In times of drought, the population relied on the Holy Day, San Augustine, ceded them to a spring.
* Eternal Father, at the intersection that is the Cross.

In the back are distinguished a number of saints typically Valencia:

* San Vicente Ferrer, the top medal.
* Santa Barbara, in the left side medallion.
* San Sebastian, in the right side medallion.
* San Vicente Martir, at the bottom.
* Virgen del Rosario, in the middle.

Processional Cross

This cross dates from the fifteenth century. It is gold-plated silver.
The bottom of it is the more remarkable, it mimics the chapels of the monasteries Gothic cloister, based on pointed arches and mullions.

IMAGE OF OUR LADY OF HEALTH

According to tradition, King James I gave images of Virgin or Christ, according to the devotion of the people he conquered . For the alcublanos gave them the image of Our Lady of Health, which was destroyed during the war civil. This image is an exact replica of the old. Pictured
include the Shield of the Old Kingdom of Aragon and the bat Coat of Valencia, in the arms of the Child.

Memorial Ark (Ark of the Tabernacle)

Ark aims mainly to hold the goblet "shapes" consecrated on Holy Thursday and will be distributed in the trades Good Friday of the Passion and Death of the Lord.

Fueron donados a la Iglesia en 1950 by the family of Don Victor Alba.

The canopy was purchased from a very unique way. In 1765 two women were appointed to ask for alms in the ovens for the New canopy, for which he was broken and indecedente.
